In the past, corporations have gone to battle over price, quality, product leadership, and customer service. But the next great corporate competition will be the war for talent. The owners and coaches of all successful sporting franchises are intimately aware that their future success depends on their ability to attract and retain talent. Business Week reports that over the next ten years 21% of top management and 24% of all management jobs across all functions, regions, and industries will become vacant.
